School

Our Head Gardener, Megan graduated from Standish Community High Scool in 2015. She was all set to go on to take A levels, thereafter. However, helping her dad, Andy, over the summer holidays, she soon discovered her new vocation.

College

Now at the end of her Horticulture NVQ with Myerscough. Megan has an enviable work ethic, a professional manner and an impeccable eye for detail. Often mistaken for being the boss, Megan is a perfectionist in every way. In fact, her nails being freshly painted every day is just the start of the lengths she goes to leave a lasting impression.

Training

Further to her college work, Megan has qualified with NPTC for PA1 Safe use of Pesticides and PA6 Application by Hand Held Applicators using directional nozzles. This allows her to handle all the pesticides we use and apply herbicides around our customers’ properties. She has also completed the City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Cross-Cutting and Maintenance.

Social

Outside of work Megan enjoys a busy social life at weekends, Dominos Pizza and spending all her wages in the first few days on new outfits and makeup – internet shopping!

Pleasure

Having passed her driving test and saving hard she treated herself to a new car. Her pride and joy, her Vauxhall Adam. Every chance she gets the jetwash or vacuum cleaner is out.
